Laurie over at Passionate Penny Pincher emailed me her recipes for the week. With the recipes, she also sent crazy pictures of what she found when she finally was able to make it to her Publix. It is amazing what this crazy weather has done to the South!!

My store looked just like that! no eggs, no produce, no o.j. NOTHING! They said the exact same thing, trucks were being delayed because they were coming from Atlanta. The store looked like it’d been ransacked. Guess I’m going to miss out on all those great deals. oh well

Yeah I went out to publix today and it looked like that as well. I had to get some more lactaid milk for my youngest and they were OUT! the meat guy was kind enough to give me another cut of roast for the $2.69 price.

We went to publix on Tuesday in Marietta, and good thing we got there at 3:30 because they were closing at 4pm! I got the last ground beef they had and pot roast. There was NO produce at all! I hope they get some more food in soon because they were running out of everything! 🙂

Called my Publix at Lake Dow in McDonough, GA. They are back to normal operating hours today. They have Publix brand whole milk only – no other brands, no other types of milk. They did get two trucks and they are really hoping they get some more today. The person on the phone was sooooo nice when I called to check and see whether I was going to try and go today or not. I HEART PUBLIX!
