Laurie over at Passionate Penny Pincher sent me her recipe that she posted this week. I had to giggle as this is at least the 5th time this week I have had someone talk about Crockpot Chicken & Dumpling! You might remember that they are even on my menu plan for the week as well!
It must be the time of the year when everyone is looking for quick and easy meals that are hearty and delicious! Alright, let’s hear it…how many of you guys are planning on whipping up a batch too?
How do we submit recipes to you, say for cheap items that are on the BOGO list?
Thanks

I am trying to lose weight, eat healthy etc. Wondering if you post healthy/low fat/low calorie recipes? Or would start a feature on them?

That looks very similar to the Chicken n Dumplings I made last week, except I added some veggies and some more spices. The recipe looks alot better in her picture though! ha ha 😀

Do you cut the chicken breast in pieces or put it in whole?
I put the chicken in whole and it shredded later. I made this last week and it was good but extremely salty. We could only eat it for dinner and ended up throwing a bunch away. I used low sodium broth but not soups. Be sure to use low sodium soups, too. Also, it will look really soupy before you add the dumplings but after I added them it thickened up quite a bit.
