Laurie over at Passionate Penny Pincher sent over her recipes for the week. How good does that pie look? While I have had strawberry pie…I have never actually made one!
I am so excited that it is strawberry picking time. I take the boys every year so I can’t wait to Ā grab our buckets and go. I think this year I am going to try a new farm that looks to have a larger variety of produce. Any of you guys picked at Whitley Farms in Sharpsburg? We usually go to Adams Farm but the staff there are not the nicest folks you’ve ever met. You know I am used to Publix…customer service matters in my book š
We love Cottle Farms in Fayetteville! They are so nice to the kids and always tell them to eat as many as they want while they pick. One of the men told the boys that if he doesn’t see strawberry juice running down their chins, then they’re not doing it right. š Their berries are ready now, since the weather has been so mild. We’re planning to go very soon!
