I got the new Publix Family Style magazine yesterday and found a couple of cake recipes that look fantastic. I actually showed the magazine to my husband and let him pick the dessert for our Easter dinner. He went with the Hummingbird Cake. I am so excited…secretly that is the one I was hoping for.

Sadly I’m not making a dessert š but we are having an Edwards Key Lime Pie and My Mother In Law will be bringing her wonderful pound cake. By saving money on the Edwards pie this week…. it allows me to spend a little more on the wonderful side dishes….now we don’t have to sacrifice real homemade mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole and we still stay on budget š
