So this is the 3rd week of Publix menu plans. Are you guys finding this new feature helpful? I have been sharing 5 full meals that match the Publix ad. So far I have been successful coming up with options for a week of meals that will only cost you $50 (or less).
This has been helpful to me. I have pulled out a couple of recipes that I haven’t made in a while. I tend to get in a rut, so this is helping me get creative with the ol’ budget. I hope you guys are starting to see how menu planning works. As you can probably tell, I build the menu by overlapping sale items. It’s a great way to take advantage of the sales and it makes you use the products you buy. No one wants to buy something then only use a little bit of it. To me, wasting food is the same as throwing money away. The goal is get the best deal and use that food before it expires/goes bad.
Here’s a recap of the recipes this week. You can see the corresponding sale items and make your grocery list HERE.
Michelle,
I can’t thank you enough for this new feature. In the past I have bought a meat product because it was on sale assuming that I would use it at some point in the week. All too often, I wouldn’t have either the right ingredients on hand to make a complete meal or the time to figure out how to make what I have work. This single feature has changed all of that. While I have only make a portion of the recipes you have listed, the ones that I have made have been delicious and many times we have had enough left over to serve as meals later in the week. With this new addition, your website has no become my one-stop-shop for reciepes and grocery list building.
Thanks for all you do!!
My thoughts exactly! Thank you Michelle!!

Yes THANK YOU MICHELLE….I love this feature! All your recipes look (and taste) soooo good; and it’s very helpful to have the full shopping list to see for yourself that it doesn’t have to cost a lot-even if there aren’t coupons for every single thing 🙂
I sometimes get “coupon blinders” and only seem to buy what I have coupons for-and this feature really helps eliminate that issue!
Love it
I am loving this feature. I may not take the time to comment on all the recipes but have tried several and all have been great. I love that the ingredients match up to sales, and that it’s a great variety within the menu each week, and even some things I have not tried before. You have a great arsenal of recipes, share away!!
YES this has been so helpful to me!! My mom did not cook and after 22 years of marriage, I am just starting to get the hang of it. Your recipes are fantastic, and the pictures and instructions you give make it easy for me to follow – I am a total visual learner. I am saving so much more money by cooking and not just couponing! Thank you for doing this!
Thank you Michelle, I have loved this weekly list since you started. It has definitely changed our “usual menu” to something different we try and my family has liked what I’ve prepared so far! I love that I can buy my items on sale knowing that I will use it all for the weekly menu.
Thank you, my kids loved the taco ring this week. It made a nice Change to Taco Tuesday in our house especially since my daughter can no longer have hard tacos and tortilla chips her favorite. Thank you so much!!!!
Taco ring was a hit with my guys. Thanks.
