Beach season’s here, which means it’s time to break out the shorts and bathing suits. Make sure you’re ready to step out on confident legs all through the season by using razors from Schick Hydro Silk®. My summer beauty routine wouldn’t be complete without them.
I recently had the opportunity to try the Schick Hydro Silk® razor and I love it. I will be honest guys, I generally grab whatever razor is in my cabinet and zip through my shave routine hoping that I don’t cut myself or end up with too much irritation and redness.
It’s funny as I see those commercials of women lazing about in the bath shaving in beautiful candle-lit rooms. I can only wish for that. I am a crazy busy mom and I’m lucky if I can get one leg shaved without someone banging on the door to tell me that something got broken or that one boy took the other’s toy. I never really put much thought into my razor or shaving routine.
Obviously, I was using the wrong razors. I love the Schick Hydro Silk® razor. I get a very close shave with no irritation. The razor moves and pivots so that even when I am having to shave quickly, I still get a comfortable shave.
With both refillable razors and disposables, Schick Hydro Silk® will help you achieve a close shave while hydrating your skin at the same time. I love to use the razors because the water-activated moisturizing serum helps provide moisture for up to two hours after shaving. I also manage to get a close shave while avoiding irritation.
I found out that before you shave, it’s important to do the right prep work first. I’ve adjusted my routine a bit to get the best shave possible. Now, my shaving routine starts when I moisten my skin with water for about three minutes before applying a thick shaving gel. Then I shave with long, even strokes without applying excessive pressure, being careful on bony areas such as ankles, shins and knees. Of course you will need to be careful while shaving skin in your bikini area because it’s thin and tender.
Now’s a great time to head to Publix to pick up all the Schick Hydro Silk® razors you’ll need to feel confident about your legs all summer long. There is a big $3 Publix coupon available in the Advantage Buy flyer that will help you get a fantastic deal on razors that you’ll love!

There is a $4 coupon on smartsource for the disposable pack:)
How is this adding up to 2.99? I could see 4.99, but I’m still not seeing it.
The math doesn’t seem right to me….$2.99?? Please explain!
When I was writing the post I had a sale price in there…forgot to change when I changed the price 😉
IIRC, the Quattro is priced at $7.99, so the $2.99 would be final price after both q’s. It’s a recent price jump, so I don’t know for sure. Think the Hydro Silk starts at $9.39.
I’ve used them, but I’ll be honest here . . . I would rather use men’s razors. It seems to me that women’s razors – including this one – don’t shave well at all just after one use. And even *I* can’t coupon enough to buy one to use everyday (that’s a joke, so don’t all the environmentalists attack!).
I agree, I would rather use a man’s razor cause they just have a closer shave. All the plastic around the razor blades on the Schick Hydro just get in the way of a close shave. Whatever happened to just buying blade refills instead of using disposables? For everyone; we are just adding to our trash pile!
I got one free to try in the mail last year and now it is all I use! The refills are much cheaper than buying crappy disposables, and since I don’t have to shave often, they last much longer! I can definitely feel a difference between these and other less expensive razors. The Hydro Silk makes for a much quicker shave!
