This is a fun promotion as you can earn a $10 Publix gift card when you buy $30 worth of participating products or a $20 Publix gift card when you buy $50 worth of participating products. I have to reiterate what has already been said…I usually find new items when I spot a coupon for a new item. It makes me search it out in the store. Sometimes Publix may not carry the item I was looking for, but I will often find something else I never knew was there during the search 🙂

I find out a number of ways..our ad (which I read each week) tells us about new products in store now. Plus, when I see a new product being introduced through my fave companies on facebook..I print the coupon that generally comes with the new product..then, check out Publix.
I also just look for items when in store. Additionally, my foodie friends and family will tell me too.

They should have 3D displays with the product and coupon tear pads. This way, the product is highlighted, and the savings will encourage shoppers to test out the product at a lower risk than having to pay full retail.

Just last week I was viewing the print ad that comes in my mail on Tuesday (the day before the sale begins) and I noticed a new to me product from Dove. Dove dark chocolate covered blueberries were on sale bogo (which makes me more likely to try them) and also there was an in store sampling event that also had these. I purchased two bags , and am sure there will be more. The sale price along with the opportunity to sample a new item insures that my selective dollars spent on non essential grocery items will not be wasted. Thanks !

I like that the new products are posted in the weekly ads or online on the Publix website. I also enjoy being able to sample new items in the store when available. Because of the Publix Apron’s cook stations, my store has something available to sample every day. After trying some of the recipes in the store, I will try to replicate them at home. Coupons and samples are always good sales incentives.

Coupons and ad matchups. I’ve tried so many products that I never would have noticed if not for couponing. I used to go in and buy the same things over and over. Favorites I have learned about from coupons include Kraft Fresh Takes, Sargento Tasting Cheeses, Innovasian, PF Changs, Friendship, Liberte, Mama Francesca and more! The ads and coupons get me to try them.

I typically find new items at Publix on items with a new item tag on the shelf. However, since it is a given that all Publix stores do not carry the exact same product for product of their shelves, I think an upfront display in each store of the new items brought in that week should be show cased and on a three week rotation before integrated to its shelf space with Publix.

I tend to spot new items in the aisles because I am so used to what is already there, have been shopping at our current store for over 12 years now! Plus I check the weekly coupons from red plum and smartsource, and I notice new products there, which I then look to see if Publix has them yet. And I think in some of the Publix ads lately I have noticed them highlighting “new items” which definitely catches my eye too!

My main Publix is the largest one in town and because of that they have room for all those extra cardboard displays for new products. They are usually either gathered near the front or near end caps. Believe it or not I find out about a lot of new products just by skimming through the coupon inserts every week. When something is new there are almost always coupons for it.

I would love for them to do samplings and testings at the store for new products. Maybe on a certain day of the week have it be “new item day” where there are different tables set out so you can sample and try out whatever is new.

My Publix usually has a large display at the front of the store highlighting new products as well as items on sale that week. I also find out about new products through old.iheartpublix.com, coupon inserts, blogs, and Publix weekly and Advantage Buy flyers. However, it’d be great if Publix would send out emails highlighting new items, including coupons and special deals, so I could be more prepared before going to the store.

I learn about the new products they are carrying from the Publix weekly ad. For some reason our area is the absolute last to get a new product in the store. Sometimes the store hasn’t received the product yet even though its on sale and marked as new product in the ad. Most often we have received a coupon either in an insert or a printable for a brand new product or flavor and all the other stores in the area get the products weeks before Publix does. I guess Walmart has the market share on getting products first.
