The folks at Toufayan sent me some of their new products for my upcoming festivities. I have a post Cinco de Mayo party this weekend and their Gluten Free Chili Lime Pita Chips will be perfect with my guac and Easy Black Bean Dip.
Of course Mother’s Day is also this weekend and I was trying to come up with something to make for my mom. She’ll be here for the party and is staying to hang out with me on Mother’s Day too. When I saw the bag of Gluten Free Salted Caramel Pita Chips I knew exactly what I was going to make to go with them…my Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie Dough Dip. Oh my…this stuff is to die for!
It’s a super easy recipe and while it’s not exactly like cookie dough. You can scoop this dip to your heart’s content with no fear of eating raw eggs! This is another one of those recipes that I can only make when I know I am having company. If I dared make it otherwise, I might eat the whole bowl all by myself!
Naturally I had to do a test run just to make sure that everything would turn out right. I invited a few buddies over to be my guinea pigs. Those Toufayan Gluten Free Salted Caramel Pita Chips were phenomenal with the dip. It was the perfect taste combination and just right for dipping. I almost can’t wait for this weekend!

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips, semi-sweet
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- Toufayan Gluten Free Salted Caramel Pita Chips
- Beat the cream cheese and butter together until light and creamy.
- Add in the sugar and vanilla then mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with Toufayan Gluten Free Salted Caramel Pita Chips
