I told you guys that a while back I decided to make a change in my diet. In just a few short months, I am happy to report that I feel great and I have lost some weight. I have been eating lean protein, lots of good veggies and trying to limit the amount of carbs that I eat each day.
At first I thought it was going to be difficult but once I started changing my eating habits and finding delicious options like the ProteinUP, CarbDown line from Flatout Flatbread it was smooth sailing. It doesn’t feel like a diet when you are eating things like Buffalo Chicken Flatbread Pizza and Chicken and Cheddar Flatbread Quesadillas! Seriously…can you even call that a diet? Well obviously it’s my kind of plan as I’m down 2 inches around my hips in only a few months!
The hearty flavor and lasting energy boost available in these flatbread wraps comes from an innovative source – BEANS! Beans are a healthy option because they’re rich in both protein and fiber. They fill you up and offer long-lasting satisfaction. Beans also provide 10 to 19 percent of the recommended daily values for so-called “shortfall nutrients” like iron, potassium, and magnesium. My guys have no clue that they are made with beans, they just know that they taste great.

There are three delicious varieties to choose from. I have had all three and you really can’t go wrong no matter which one you choose. I like to change it up based on my mood. You guys know I am a hummus kind of gal so that’s probably my favorite but the others run a close second!
- Core 12 – A staple based on the original Flatout wrap recipe, featuring chickpeas
- Red Pepper Hummus – A chickpea based recipe with a tasty kick
- Sea Salt & Crushed Black Pepper – Classic spices combined with the power of Navy beans

What’s the price on these? Do they really come with veggies inside?
They are around $3 regular price but Flatout goes BOGO often. With the coupon you can get a great deal. They don’t have veggies inside…they are made with beans as an ingredient 🙂 You can see the ingredient lists on the Flatout site —> http://www.flatoutbread.com/products/flatout-wraps/flatout-proteinup/
That’s awesome! Congrats! 2 inches 😀
I bought some of these at the last BOGO sale with the BOGO coupons and didn’t bother to look to see what the extra protein source was..LOL. I had the Core 12 and it was very tasty with some roast beef, cheese, tomato & horseradish sauce.
