I used to love these! That is, until I found a small bug in one of them! Ugh. I’ve been afraid to touch another.
Oh goodness…I hate that it happened but I would imagine it’s a very, very rare occurrence. I am sure the lettuce was the bug’s home before it was your salad–tee hee.
Seriously–I do understand your anxiety but do give them another chance. I’ve encountered little pests here and there from my own garden so I know it can happen. Also be sure to use the contact info if you ever encounter an issue. All packaging has detailed info that will help them trace where the issue occurred. They can then relay that info to the processing facility to make sure efforts are made to prevent it from happening again.
