It’s been so much fun reading all the different ways that you guys use Ziploc® brand bags and containers around your home. Apparently I am not the only one who uses them on a daily basis. I have found some great tips and suggestions in your comments and will be able to put many of them to use in my own home. You all are so smart!
From leftovers, to craft storage, packing lunches and so much more, Ziploc® brand products are a must have all around the house. Even my guys use the bags and containers constantly. Actually they may even use them a bit too often.
My husband is notorious for taking my bowls to his garage to hold the various car parts or nuts and bolts that he’s tinkering with. The problem is he often takes the containers but leaves the lids. I end up with an excess of lids without their matching container. Luckily, I can always grab a great deal on the containers at Publix. Plus, I keep a hidden supply in my pantry just in case I need some to send home with guests.
The boys are just as bad. They are constantly grabbing handfuls of my Ziploc® brand bags to organize their various collections of video games, Legos, figurines, rocks and whatever else they can find. They are constantly filling up bags with all kinds of treasures. I suppose I should be thankful that those “treasures” end up in the bags and not in my dryer!
We all know how handy they are at home but don’t forget about the classroom. Ziploc® brand products make life easier for mom and teachers too. I recently sent my boys back to school with some. Both of my boys’ teachers had the bags on their supply lists. The number of ways that they can be used in the classroom is beyond measure. Don’t forget to donate a box or two to the schools when you are sending in those school supplies.

I use the quart freezer bag to portion out my meat that I buy in bulk from the butcher. Then I can thaw out only what I need for one or two meals at a time.
I use all sizes of the Ziploc containers to “contain the toys” in our house. We are constantly trying to find ways to contain the madness when it comes to toys and these are PERFECT! Everything fits in a cabinet neatly that is labeled to help prevent unnecessary toys being pulled out. Want superheros–we only have to pull out the superhero box!
I find I use the Ziplock Quart freezer bags the most because I use them to divide up large packages of meat/poultry. This way I can thaw only the meat I need for a meal.

Although I use the ziplock sandwich bags(125 count) most around out home, I really like the snack size as it is just the right size for sending our 2 preschoolers’ snacks in everyday!
The large recatangular containers hold muffins in the freezer for hubby’s lunch.

Just organised my ziploc cabinet today. I have lots of containers and different size of Ziploc bags. The one I use the most is the quart size freezer.
I use the Quart size Freezer baggies the most for freezing sauces I make as well as lunchmeats. It helps to keep my freezer so much better organized since I can label everything.
We mostly use the sandwich bags for school lunches.

Quarts are pints are best for me. I can freeze leftovers in a pint or quart bag . When i realize he doesn’t have anything for lunch the next day, i can just thaw overnight for my husband’s lunch when I need to.
Wow, just one favorite?? I use them so much! I guess my favorite would be the gallon bags (especially the new ones with the flap on the opening) tied neck and neck with the large rectangle Ziploc® Containers with One Press Seal.

I use the gallon size the most. They are awesome for everything around the house like my socks and shoes in my gym bag, I put the kids homework in them so they are all together. And I even use them for food, currently there is chicken breasts marinating in teriyaki sauce in the refrigerator.

The gallon bags are the ones I use most around the house.
My favorite is the 2 Gallon Freezer Bag.
We use about 10-15 sandwich bags each day for all the lunches. I don’t know what I would do without them!
Remember how our Mothers used to wrap things in waxed paper>> Ugh. Yeah Ziplock
Sandwich bags aren’t just for sandwiches! My vote is for sandwich bags because I use them for just about everything. They are obviously the cheapest, especially with our coupons and deals, but I can squish just about everything into them. Tonight’s dinner was chicken breast, and that one extra breast in the sandwich baggie will make great chicken salad sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. I use them for children’s snacks (as well as us so-called adult’s nibbles), I have at least 15 in my sewing kit, buttons, bobbins and much more. I chop salad ingredients and place in separate sandwich baggies, to be used with lettuce to make our individual salad preferences. It’s amazing, but you can put lots of leftovers, that you tend to use the quart size for. into the sandwich sized baggie. Try them and save money.
I use the Freezer bags the most – Gallon size followed closely by the Quart size. I’ll store 1 lb portions of meat to use later in the Quart size. I store baked goods in the Gallon size.

My favorite size Ziploc® brand bag that I find I use most around my home is the Ziploc® Brand Slider Storage Bags Quart / Medium.
I like the large rectangular Ziploc container for storing rice. I cook about three cups at the beginning of the week and then i don’t have to cook any more for the rest of the week, just reheat whatever we need and if there is any left over at the end of the week, we make fried rice.

We use the freezer, snack & sandwich bags the most in our family. Really like the pint freezer bags for fruit storage.

I try to use freezer ziploc bags the most because you can wash and reuse them forever!!!! I can’t even imagine how much money I’ve saved doing that. But I do also use the zipper sandwich bags that are thinner and less expensive quite a bit also…….hubby can use those to take stuff to work and doesn’t have to worry about bringing it back home. I find I use all the bags much much more than the plastic containers. We use the 2 gallon to store the large hams and shoulders from the deer from each years hunting season!!
My drawer looks almost exactly like the one in the picture!!! lol……I take it Michelle that that is your drawer. It even looks like the same size drawer!

The quart size freezer bags are a MUST in my house. When I do my grocery shopping, I weigh the meat, separate it by pound, and put it in the freezer bags. Just put the date and what it is on the outside and that definitely helps with organization! 🙂

The gallon freezer bags
I like to use the bags to store my cat treats in (temptations). I find that when my cats hear me opening up the treat bags, they all come a running (10 cats!). So I store them in the quart size bags and when I happen upon a cat or two looking at me, I can quietly open up the bag and give them a little something! If Kitty’s are happy – mama bear is happy! Thanks Zip Lock!

I use a lot of gallon size bags to separate and organize my products in my Direct Selling business! They are great for organizing and when I do an event I can see what I have, grab the bags and put them in a tote and I am good to go! I stay organized and it also helps me keep a handle on inventory.
It’s a toss up between quart and gallon- size Ziploc bags. Those are the two I keep on handy always. I can use both to store leftover things or things that may need a place such as small toy parts, My Coke Rewards, Kellogg rewards, coupons, box tops, a snack on the go. So many uses for Ziplocs!

I love Ziploc bags and containers. I use the gallon storage bags for my crochet yarn. I can write on the bag the color name and weight. I can carry all my project yarns with me sealed up. And storing them is so easy, no more tangled balls of yarn.
We use the sandwich size the most then gallon size second.
I use the snack bags to organize my pills for the day. They are also great for traveling.

Ultimately I use the bags more than the containers. While the small containers tens to get used for leftovers that I take to work (and eat out of them!) I use the gallon size bages the most…usually for marinating meats.
I use the quart size now alot to keep my grandaughters small shopkins in and also playdough parts !!

Gallon size for storing frozen food and ice cubes. We stock up on ice for Hurricane season. Then toss the ziplocks in our cooler for tailgating at football games. Keeps our food cold and provides ice cubes for cold drinks at games without the mess.

Freezer quart size is the one that always works for some reason.
The Ziploc quart size (freezer) and Snack size are the ones most often used at my house. The Quart size are PERFECT for freezing meats, sauces, fruits/veggies, and etc. They fit just enough for my family. The Snack ones are very convenient for lunches and after school snacks. I like to prep everything for the week ahead of time, so I have tons of these in my fridge at all times!

I LOVE the Ziploc GALLON size bags! I buy ground beef and chicken from Zaycon and these bags are a must for putting up 40-80lbs of meat at each Zaycon pickup! I also use the GALLON size bags for my boys summer camps each year! Bags for daily outfits, wet items, keeping toiletries organized! Love ’em!!
Besides kitchen uses, I use the gallon size to hold shampoo and other liquids when I travel. No messy leaks!

Although an untraditional use, my favorite container from Ziplock now is a fun toy storage/counting container using blocks for my favorite 10 month old granddaughter! Clearly, this is my favorite container and the CUTEST use and USER ever!!! 🙂

I have to say ziploc is a staple in my kitchen , from using them for piping in fillings to putting up veges to storing leftovers to homemade ice packs for my children – I love them all from containers to bags

I use the gallon size bags most often. They are great for freezing homemade bread and for storing pasta so it isn’t attacked by mealy bugs.

I like gallon size as you can marinate & bread with them-saving on dishes & general mess & they’re good for shipping as you can fill with peanuts & they are just my go-2 size Ziploc bag.
I just moved away to college and we packed a lot of my food stuff in Ziploc containers. When I empty them they will be for leftovers and storage.
My favorite product is the Ziploc freezer quart size bags. I love to freeze homemade pizza and pasta sauce in these after I cook a big batch.
