It’s crazy to think that school is starting soon. Believe it or not, my boys start next week! One minute it’s summer break and the next I am thinking about shopping for new clothes and school supplies.
With two boys in elementary school, we have a big list of supplies to purchase. There are things like crayons, markers, paper, pencils, hand sanitizer and my ally to help control the back-to-school chaos: Ziploc® brand bags and containers. Yes, at my house Ziploc® brand items are used on a daily basis and are a very important part of the school year. Even my boys’ teachers have them on their supply lists, so I’ll happily grab a few boxes to donate to the classroom.
Both of my boys always have a Ziploc® brand bag in their backpack with enough change to purchase a water, milk or the occasional ice cream as a treat. I simply use a permanent marker to write their name on the bag, and it gets tucked in their backpack.

You guys know I am an organization junkie, so I use Ziploc® brand containers with One Press Seal to hold just about everything. Life is just easier when everything has a “home”. Broken crayons get stored in a container, glue sticks in another, and paint in a separate container. I love to have the ziploc containers and bags for when I bring someone a meal if they’re sick or had a new baby or such. Then they don’t have to worry about getting containers back to me.
i use my ziploc containers for everything,in the kitchen i use them for leftovers,kids snacks, my half opened bags of rice or beans,etc… for the play room i use them for holding flash cards,small matchbox cars.my coupons,etc and ziploc bags i use all sizes from freezing food to putting my grandbaby some snacks on the go.
I USE ZIPLOCKS BAGS TO FREEZE SOLID BLOCKS OF WATER INTO ICE FOR COOLERS AND EMERGENCIES IF THE POWER GOES OUT .. YOU SIMPLY PLACE THE BLOCKS OF ICE AROUND PERISHABLES IN YOUR REFRIDGERATOR TO KEEP THEM COLD AND CAN ALSO USE THE WATER FOR DRINKING AS WELL IN ANY EMERGENCY. THIS SAVED MY AUNT LAST YEAR DURING A STORM THAT LOST POWER FOR 2-3 DAYS.
I like to use Ziploc bags to marinate meat, chicken, pork chops, etc. Just mix your marinade and throw in the meat and when you are ready to cook, simply throw away the bag and no messy container to cleanup!!!

I love to use the bags for snacks to go in my purse. I use the freezer ones to freeze fresh fruit for smoothies.
I like to use Ziplock bags for almost everything. My favorite use though is when my boy scout goes camping, each day’s worth of clothing goes into a large ziplock bag with the air pressed out so that his clothes don’t take up as much packing space. Then when he is done wearing a set of clothes, they go back into the ziplock. As soon as he gets home, he empties those ziplock bags into the washer and gets it running…and I never have to smell the stink.

I use them for everything , snacks, art projects and they are good for toddlers that have accidents when out and about just put their dirty clothes in a Ziploc bag until you get home.

I use Ziploc, daily, whether it’s for packing school/work lunches or organizing the million tiny Legos that live at my house!
We use it to organize crayons, markers and pens so its easy to pull which one you want to color with. We also use them to recently store our Shopkins! My kids are crazy for these grocery store toys!! It’s all the rave apparently!
I use Ziplock for spare clothes in the backpack when we go to amusement parks. We use it also to hold all the snacks in the backpack and paper product to ensure nothing gets wet. At home, we use one to hold all the lids for the Tervis Tumblers. Iny classroom I use them to hold math manipulatives and store flash cards. The snack size is great for holding kids medicine when not at home.
I use Ziploc to keep my daughter’s hair beads separated by color, shape, and/or size. I can see them easily and I don’t have to worry about them spilling everywhere if the bag drops, unlike some of those organizational boxes. Plus, after washing my toddler’s soiled underwear, I place them in a Ziploc bag and stick them in the freezer to rid any traces of a poop smell since I cant use strong scented products on her laundry.

School started today here although mine is in college and starts the 17th. I use several Ziploc sandwich bags daily for work lunches for 2 people. I have small Ziploc containers with straight pens, safety pens, rubberbands, misc. buttons, and twist ties. Of course my fridge is full of Ziploc leftovers.

I LOVE Ziploc containers and bags. I use them only only for food but storage of clothing/sewing, knitting, medicines, jewelry, pictures – just about anything that will fit. Easy carry for going out – wet ones, etc and I can find them easier if in a baggie!!

I have a daughter with celiac disease. She is attending a small college with a limited amount of choices at the cafeteria. She has a microfridge in her dorm that she has to use alot. I pack, chop and freeze lots off serving size meats into Ziploc freezer bags. Also instant potatoes, rice and grits. I use a permanent marker and write out directions on the bags. They are so convenient for her and we can store alot in her little refrigerator. I love Ziploc over other brands. They are definitely thicker and lock better than the store brands.

I like you, use Ziploc for storage around the house. For things from cake decorating tips to dog food for travel. we use them all the time for lunches. I try to prep for dinner by slicing chicken, veggies or fruit ahead of time then having it add in ready while preparing dinner. I love the snack size bags for goodies in my youngest lunch.

I use ziplock bags to keep my coupons sorted. I have tried different methods but the snack size bags to keep clipped coupons in order and sometimes use the bigger bags to hold them all. I also use the large freezer bags to keep extra outfits for the family in the trunk of my car. this is really handy in the summer when I can put swimming suits and sunscreen in a bag for those unexpected pool parties or trips to the beach.

I use ziploc for storage for my coupons. Instead of taking my binder in the stores I have a list of what I’m getting and my coupons in the ziploc bags that I am using. I have store sections at the back of my binder and when i’m at a store I just open my binder to that store and there’s the coupons i’m going to use with my list all safe inside a ziploc bag. I do this because sometimes I have been hit with thunderstorms as I’m leaving the store and with frozen items you can’t sit there and wait for it to pass. The ziploc bags keep my coupons dry and safe.

I use ziploc bags for… Everything! I shop at Publix for 99% of my groceries, but when I buy meat at Sam’s Club, I use Ziploc bags to store the different portions in the freezer. I also use them for sealing up veggies and fruits that I chopped and for storing our leftovers in he fridge.
I am also a kindergarten teacher and use Ziploc bags every single day in my classroom. The big, gallon sized bags are used for toting reading books and materials between school and home for my kiddos, and the smaller sandwich sizes are used daily for holding their supplies and pieces of projects. I would be lost without them!

We use the bags and containers on an everyday basis. Leftovers are sent home in the gallon bags because the containers don’t come back. When we go to the beach we use the bags for our phones keys and money . The containers are used for our leftovers but the are great bug and treasure holders for the grandbabies. I wont even get into all the uses in my classroom
I know this is odd but I keep folded paper towels in a ziploc bag along with a small package of wipes in my purse. I do this so I will have it when I go places with my dog and I always pick up the mess. I use the gallon size folded. And yes, I am known to wipe him. Is that embarrassing? 🙂

I use the snack size bags to put individual size servings of chips/snacks. That way I don’t eat the whole bag (ha ha).
We use the containers for loose Lego pieces around the house! When we cut my kiddos hair for the first time we keep the little locs in a ziploc bag in my jewlery box. And of course the standard lunchbox and kitchen uses! Love them!
I actually do not think there is anything I do NOT use Ziploc bags for. I actually use reusable containers for snacks and sandwiches so I do not use Ziploc for its original intention but I am use them to organize just about everything else in my home.. Everywhere and every way possible. I made a super cool sticker organizer out of ribbon, ziplocks, and a placemat. It keeps all my scrapbookin stuff organized.
We use zip locks to: store various dog bones and treats, keep travel jewelry together, all breads & rolls fresher, sandwich storage, keep coins together for newspaper purchases, on the boat to keep my diving items close, to name a few. We use zip locks for everything!

I use Ziplocs when we go to a couple weeks of beach time at a friends condo I keep bathroom supplies in them , I also use them here at home to put individual potions of meat in them then put several of the smaller bags in a large freezer bag .
All the boxed snacks get portioned out into serving sizes on the box and put into snack size bags for grab and go snacks. Use the big ones to pack picnic lunches in our picnic basket so they don’t get soggy.
I use Ziploc to freeze water for ice packs for – camping – ice coolers for the beach – hot flashes LOL! Also for undereye puffiness. I use them to Freeze left overs. I always open frozen produdts and Meats and re freeze in Ziploc. Ziploc bags are perfect cosmetic bags/change/snacks/ and of course sandwiches.

My husband and I cook big when we visit my elderly parents and then freeze the leftovers in double portions so that they have healthy meals. They love it and us for doing it. Ziploc containers work great (and painter’s tape stays on in the freezer to label the meals).

My best use was when we went camping years ago and packed all of my families clothes in them (one outfit in each bag) before placing in our back packs. When it REALLY rained, we were the only ones on the trip with dry clothes.

I use ziploc bags to separate some of my coupons, for my son and daughters snacks while we are out and about. I use the ziploc containers to store my daughter’s hair bows and ribbons and of course for food leftovers and lunch the next day.
In addition to all the usual ways to use Ziplock bags you will also find them in my jewelry box. I have some very delicate chains that tend to kink and knot, the snack size bags keep them in perfect condition!

Ziploc products are used daily in my house/work. Containers are used to store leftovers. The bags are used for lunches for the family. In my kindergarten classroom, I couldn’t even begin to count the ways we use Ziploc bags. Before I became a teacher, I always wondered why the bags were on the school supply list (how could they really need ALL those bags?). Now that is something I couldn’t imagine living without in the classroom!

I use ziploc to store frozen foods and vegetables also my coupons that I haven’t clipped yet, I put my kids swim suits in them and also some of their clothes depending on where they’re going, to store sunscreen in and of course snacks for the kids and anything else I can think of!!

We have a small family but I like to buy in bulk for the savings. I use Ziploc freezer bags to freeze everything! Helps me save money in the long run.
Use to organize all the nuts, bolts and screws my honey leaves lying around. Also I use it to make decorator icing with different colors in each bag.
We use Ziploc for so many things… lunches, freezing fruit/veggies, and lately, helping my daughter keep her hair ties & accessories organized.
Some things I just don’t know how to cook for 2 people so I make a family size batch (chili, chix and dumplings, beef stew…..) and the ziplock containers are perfect for me to share meal size portions with my parents who live in the next city. They don’t have to cook and I don’t waste food or end up eating the same thing all week!
Besides obvious food storage uses, I use mine to decorate cakes and fill deviled eggs, as well as organize craft supples and coupons

My newest way to use the large Ziplock storage or freezer bags are to put my warranties/receipts in them according to subject matter (i.e. electronics, household) and store them for easy access should the need arise.
Friends look in my pantry and say “why do you have so many Ziploc boxes”? I have every size they make – use for everything, from keeping my “stash” of chocolate, to freezing, to basically anything to put in refrigerator. Also take fishing so things don’t get wet.

What don’t I use my Ziploc bags for……….I prep fruit for my smoothies and I freeze in Ziploc bags. I also use them for freezing leftovers. I put packets of PureVia in Ziplocs so I can carry them in my purse for restaurant outings. I use them for marinating meat and of course I use them to pack snacks for school lunch. I use them for storing crafts and sometimes even for the crafts themselves. When I go to the salon and get my hair done sometimes water gets in my ears. Well I put some q-tips in a baggie, this way the cotton doesn’t unravel and their safely kept. I find them very helpful and they make my life more convenient.
I have smoothies for breakfast every day so I peel and freeze all the fruit in serving size baggies as soon as I bring them home from the store. A great time-saver when I am in a hurry.

Ziploc Bags and Containers have been a part of my housekeeping routine for many years. I keep all sizes of them stocked for everyday uses. We use them to separate toys in the boys’ room. They keep their crayons, stickers, gum, cars, puzzle letters and pieces, etc. in them. I use them for all of my coupons, plastic silverware, magnets, leftovers, freezing items, microwaving food, packing food for school lunches and picnics. We also use them when we travel to put our shampoo, etc. in. My daughter loves the bags for her dolls’ clothing. She puts her barrettes and clips in them. I use them to organize my makeup and beauty creams. They are the NUMBER reason my husband raves about my housekeeping. LOVE YOU ZIPLOC!!!!!!!
I use Ziploc bags/containers to portion out snacks, freeze meals, hold my medicine for the day in my purse, bring a goodie bag to my dad. I put my makeup in a bag and then put the bag in my makeup case. I use a Ziploc bag for my bank deposit when I have change so it stays together. I use the containers to freeze my homemade cookies. I always offer a Ziploc container to my guests if they want some leftovers. When I travel I pack my clothes in the bags, I pack my cats food in Ziploc bags and I could go on and on! I L.O.V.E. my Ziploc containers and I use them for everything! One of my favorite places to use them is in the bathroom drawers, where I have small and medium containers stacked with my daughter’s hair ties, barrettes, headbands, etc. They make it so easy to keep everything separated and organized. They are also handy in the garage for nails, screws, hooks and just about everything else that never stays in its original packaging very well!

The gallon bags I use for my concession stand to hold dry mix. I use the containers for everything- office organization, bathroom, kitchen, and car. The gallon freezer bags I use to store important papers and non replaceable photos since I live in Florida and it’s hurricane season. If we have to evacuate I just grab the container with the bags in it and leave. No worries about water damage.

After several unfortunate experiences with hefty and off brand freezer bags, we now know to stick to ziplock!
I use the gallon sized ziplock bags to store our toiletries when we go on vacation.
We use ziploc containers and bags for everything on the boat. Since we have one large cooler, all the snacks and drinks go into the cooler where the caught fish will be stored. Ziploc provides protection from spills and smells. We also use them to store spare parts for the rods as well as to protect the cell phone and other (not so water proof) items.
I couldn’t live without Ziploc bags. At home, I use them for storing food, to help save money when I find something on sale at the grocery store to use for later, I try to make a double supper sometimes and freeze half for nights when I don ‘t have a lot of time to cook, storing my sewing stuff, one for my box tops for school, several bags in my sons room for different games so we don’t lose all the pieces, one gallon one for all the manuals for my sons toys, one for crayons and markers, one in a drawer that holds all the receipts for clothes purchases and any other purchase I’ve made this year, and one in my bathroom with a collection of hotel shampoo/soap for when my husband has to travels. I like to organize with Ziploc bags because you can write on them so easily and they are great for sorting out stuff and putting things away. I have a Ziploc bag in my car for my change, one bag filled with first aid, and one filled with small packs of medicine and one bag filled with snacks. When I travel, all of my beauty items and shampoo go in a Ziploc to keep them from spilling. While Ziploc bags are great for helping with lunch, I’m a little addicted to using them for everything and my son has picked up my habit.

I keep bags in a kitchen drawer for box tops for school and one for bottle lids that my son collects for school. Having them in one central place reminds me to save them and they are ready to send in to school!
I use Ziploc for keeping puzzle pieces together. Whenever my kids open a new puzzle the pieces go into Ziploc bag-if the box is damages I cut the puzzle picture out and put into the bag with the pieces.

OOOOOOOOOOOHH how I love my Ziploc bags!
I use them for everything in the kitchen – leftover storage, dry goods storage in the pantry, and when I cook bacon – I dump the cold grease in one and zip it up and throw it away in the garbage to eliminate clogging my drain or stinking up the garbage can! I put icing in them to ice cupcakes and cookies.
In the playroom they are used to hold puzzle pieces, crayons and markers, flash cards, lego pieces to each lego set, and much more!
BUT – my favorite way to use them is travel! I take a gallon sized bag and put a shirt, pair of underwear socks, and shorts or pants in one bag and that’s how I pack for my 3 year old. We only have to pull out one Ziploc bag each day of our trip! We love it because we aren’t sifting through the suitcase trying to find his outfits each day!
I have a shameless addiction for for zip top bags and disposable containers. There is always a back up quantity in my supply closet. It is the most inexpensive way to keep neat and organized in everyday living and through out my home. Great for one week planned lunches, give away containers for cookies or meals. Keeps toiletries contained (germ free) in my bathrooms (cotton balls, cotton swabs etc ). My absolute favorite thing is, I can see all of my lei making supplies (Hawaiian leis) clearly and lined up neatly. It just makes perfect sense to me and I love it.

I pack 5 lunches almost every day. I’m a teacher with 3 kids (and a husband) who all need nutrituous and delicious lunches every day. My biggest time saver is to use Ziploc bags and containers and prepackage food on Sunday so it’s ready for the rest of the week. The night before we grab what we need and put it in our lunchboxes.

My love of Ziploc bags and containers goes beyond the usual lunch preparations, freezing leftovers, freezing meals for new parents and those that are sick. I use Ziploc bags as a frosting bag to decorate my cupcakes and cakes, to store all of my toiletries in when traveling – should there be a leak in something – it’s contained to the bag. I always keep a Ziploc bag in my purse – should I be out and about – caught in a Florida thunderstorm – I can quickly put my purse in the bag – eliminating my purse being wet but especially my phone. When my grandkids are with me – I place their daily changes of clothes in a large Ziploc bag – this works so well when we are out and about to Disney and Busch Gardens – if their previous change of clothes are soiled – perfect to place in the Ziploc bag.

All diaper needs go in separate gallon size bags while traveling and all I have to do is take 1 ziploc bag with me to restroom instead of lugging the entire diaper bag ! No germs and no mess .

I use Ziploc all around my house–and my classroom!! I teach second grade and these little baggies are an absolute necessity!! We use them for SO many things! I use them as crayon baggies for students who don’t bring a pencil box, organizing math station games, and so many more!! I think the students’ favorite time is when I pull them our during science–they know we are about to do a fun experiment! Love me some Ziploc (:

I use the large round containers to take salads to work for lunch, they leave plenty of room so I can mix my dressing in and not end up with salad all over the table. I use the smaller containers at home when I cut all my veggies for the week, it makes it much quicker to get my salad ready before work.
Oh my gosh, what DON’T I use Ziplocs for? Just this past week – I froze some beef, pork chops and chicken breasts in meal-size amounts in freezer bags; I froze two bags of water inside new shoes to stretch them out; I portioned out MMs/Snickers2Go bars/protein powders in snack-size baggies for lunch treats; I rolled up two tortillas for my lunch today. I use them EVERY DAY!

First, I use a Ziploc as a change purse just like your sons. Mine is in the car to collect change to be used when I stop at a garage sale. I can grab my Ziploc and shop. Second, I use Ziploc quart freezer bags daily as part of my breakfast routine. I have 14 Ziploc bags which I reuse. I fill each with enough kale and fruit for one smoothie. Then each morning I pull out one bag and dump into my blender. It saves a ton of time from opening a bags of several fruits. I also put half a banana in each bag, which is a great way to use over soft bananas – just freeze them for your smoothie bags.
I use ziploc everyday to pack lunches, freeze meat in meal-size portions, crush crackers or cookies for recipes, and to keep foods fresh while storing.
Ziploc bags are incredible for more than just food. I have a 2 year old at home that owns multiple puzzles and lego sets. I find that if I keep the puzzle pieces separated in Ziplocs as well as his Lego sets, he is more apt to HELP clean up because he loves sliding the Ziploc seal, and he doesn’t lose any of the pieces!

I just love ziplock! I used the containers to store leftovers, to take food in the coolers on cookouts so the food does not get wet, and to store sweet sugary foods in my pantry. i have 5 grand children i am raising so i also separate there school supplies in containers with their names on each on. I use the ziplock freezer bags to place the fresh meat i buy in bulk to store in the freezer. i use the sandwich bags for lunches for school. I also use them to separate fresh vegetable snacks and place in the refrigerator for later consumption. Containers are great for freezing left overs for DH lunches and “independent” Young adult’s meals to save money instead of buy expensive “Instant-quick” meals.
Ever since my MIL passed away in December, we have been living by Ziploc containers, I feed my FIL & 15 yr old BIL 4-5 times a week and pack the leftovers from the meals in ziploc containers for them to have the next day.
I also use the bags for just about everything, from organizing my coupons, organizing my jamberry nail wraps, lunches, i literally use them for EVERYTHING! I <3 Ziploc!!

I use the Ziplock plastic containers to set down inside my lingerie to organize it. I can fit 3 containers perfectly in there and sort socks, undies and bras in them.

Where do I begin, I use Zip Loc bags for freezing for storing everything from food to toys, crayons, blocks, change (money) Lunch packing, snack packing for sneaking into movies and other places thatsell over priced snacks, When we travel we put our daily amnt of medicine in the small snack size. Toiletries in quart sizes. Just about anything I use I can store inZipLoc bags.
I use Ziploc bags for everything. I buy in bulk from Zaycon and use the freezer bags mainly for these purchases. The sandwich bags get used for food items, snacks and to organize my free sample items. The quart for some leftovers, toiletries and lately I have been using a quart size bag as a mini purse when I go to exercise class. I just throw in my license, chap stick, phone and drop my keys in before class. This way I don’t have to take a purse. My hubby gets great use from the containers as he takes his lunch to work on a daily basis.
Ziploc bags are the greatest thing ever! I use them for everything in my kitchen from pre packing bulk meats to storing extra foods I prepare on Sundays. Also for kids school lunches!

I rely on the Ziploc freezer bags to put meat in the freezer so it will be ready when it is time to cook. It’s just so easy to put the roast and marinade in the Ziploc, throw it in the freezer until you are ready to cook it.

One of my favorite new uses of gallon ziploc bags is to use them for organizing my toddler’s outfits for vacation. I use one bag each to keep his outfits separate and easy to pick out or change after an accident. It also helps my suitcase stay neater. Win win!

I like to use ziplock bags for almost everything. I like to use them to freeze stuff like strawberries, blueberries, or meat. When freezing strawberries, i simply wash and cut them first them my daughter would place to all in ziplock bags for later use. This is very good with smoothies just simply take a bag out from the freeze and any other things you would like to be in your smoothie and enjoy.

Soooo many different ways to use them! I put my paper clips in them at my couponing center. I put my confetti in them, that I always slip into greeting cards as a little extra surprise for unsuspecting recipients. I use ziplock bags and containers for everything. Most recently I have been using the ziploc bags in quart and gallon sizes for fresh vegtables out of the garden. This has been the first year I have ever really gardened and I have been shelling peas and shucking corn for what seems like forever now, ha. The gallon size bags are perfect for corn and the quart size bags are perfect for pre-portioned food for the winter. With the date written on the outside I can rotate and use the frozen veggies without having to question how long have these been in here. I also use the containers for everything, like you everything should have a “home”. Thanks for all you do!!

I typically use the Ziploc bags and containers fpr food storage. But after reading your other post with how you keep your kids organized, I am going to start organizing my craft supplies and go through The Drawer. I have hope now of finding what I need when I need it without spending a lot of time looking.
I use them for food, large ones for packing underwear and toiletries when I travel so the inspectors can see my things without touching them, use them for produce I have cleaned and washed after shopping – many more things!

My favorite way is to use as gloves, love this.. Then of course: storage of food and items you want separated and organized (keep your makeup separated), marinating , Seed starters, composting, and crafting.
I use Ziploc bags to keep writing pens in my purse together. I hate digging around the bottom of my purse to find one, and by keeping several together in a bag, it keeps the searching down.

I drive for work so I use them to store my packets of oatmeal in and also sugar packets for my coffee. We live in a swampy area so we have lots of ants trying to get into everything including our cars! The ziploc bags help keep ants from getting into our cereal and snacks.
As a Mom and couponer I had to purchase a deep freezer for all my meats and veggies. I love using Ziploc bags to help save space and prevent freezer burn. We all know those foam backed packages from the stores take up way to much room and do not prevent freezer burn. 🙂

We use Ziploc bags for everything! I organize Box Tops for school in a Ziploc bag on the fridge. I have our crayons we take on car trips in individual zip bags. My fave thing to use a Ziploc bag I learned from Girl Scouts!! We use Freezer bags to make individual omelets! Our girls with put everything they want in a freezer bag (eggs, cheese, diced ham), zip it up, squish it up, and put it in a big pot of boiling water (over a fire if you’re camping!). It makes perfect omelets AND….no messy clean up!

I like to use Ziploc snack bags to keep my matching necklace and earring sets together. I also use them for my Silver jewelry to keep it from tarnishing. The snack bags are also fantastic to use to make your own 100-calorie snack bags or lunch portions.
I use the easy open storage bags for just about everything. I stay in Tennessee and I visit my mother who stays in California. While in California I decided to stop at Imperial Beach. I was so amazed at this beautiful beach and the black sand. It was amazing! So I collected some and brought it back to Tennessee. Crazy thing is that one of children threw away the sand while they were cleaning up the house :(. But we use the bags after we open everything literally. We even used them to store our lotions, perfumes and sprays in out luggage when we went to California. Ziploc is a great brand and I absolutely love the bags and containers.

I have to have ziplocs handy because I always cook too much! I like to share the leftovers but no one brings my rubber maid back…..lol. And if I take the good stuff to work…it disappears. 🙁
