Over the past couple of months, I have been talking about using the great taste of Bertolli® Olive Oil to help you with your entertaining. With Labor Day coming up, you know I had to share something delicious with you!
I have a big end of summer bash planned for the last big outdoor holiday to take advantage of the warm weather while I can. The boys are already back in school and soon we’ll see the leaves start to fall. Before I have to close up the pool, I am going to crank up the grill and invite everyone over for one last shindig.
My life is hectic, so I am going to opt for recipes and dishes that I can put together quickly but will still feed lots of folks. That means that I will definitely whip up a batch of Easy Feta Dip. This is one of the easiest recipes that you will ever make, and I guarantee you that the dish will be completely empty by the end of the night. I actually learned that it’s best to get enough ingredients for two batches…just in case the first one goes quickly.
You can put this dip together in around 5 minutes. The hardest part is cutting up the tomatoes. You literally pour a generous amount of rich Bertolli® Extra Virgin Olive Oil on a serving dish. Top that with diced tomatoes, chopped green onion, crumbled feta and then sprinkle some Greek seasoning on top of it all. See, I told you it was easy! The combination of the ingredients is absolutely amazing, and it’s a fresh and delicious dip that your guests will devour!
- 1/3 cup Bertolli® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 cups diced tomatoes
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 6 oz feta, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon Greek seasoning
- Add the Bertolli® Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the platter.
- Top with the tomatoes, green onions and then the feta cheese.
- Sprinkles with the Greek Seasoning.
- Serve with toasted baguette chips, pita bread, bagel chips or any dipper of your choice!
Be sure to stop by Publix and pick up some Bertolli® Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a few other ingredients, and you can create a fantastic end of summer bash for your guests.
