You know that saying – “Little things make a big difference.” It may be an old saying but it’s actually quite accurate!
I have been sharing how I use the new items from the Glade® Autumn Collection to help transform my home and get ready for Fall. Now these aren’t big changes that I am making. Most everything that I have done has been small things here and there. But when I step back and look at the final result, the transformation is really quite dramatic.
A few pillows may not be a big change in a room, but…when you add in a matching throw, some repurposed accessories and a perfectly placed Glade® candle to set the mood, the whole room takes on a whole new look.
Don’t be afraid to change things. Step outside of your comfort zone and be bold with the changes you make. I bet you’ll find that your daring side is quite pleasing.
Let the new Glade® Autumn Collection inspire you to explore a more mysterious, intriguing side of yourself. Look for the three new scents next time you shop at Publix.
- Rich Pumpkin Dream™
- Spiced Apple Magic™
- Wondrous Autumn Nights™

love the smell of pumpkin in the fall
For me, changes usually come in the form of clutter clearing. Reducing how much stuff there is in my house makes it possible to see what remains more clearly.
I will change my decor.
Well, there is a big chance I will be moving into a new place. That will definitely get me out of my comfort zone!
I just started a new job so a lot of changes happening there!
I found a few Pinterest crafting projects for fall that I would love to try to bring a bit of fall into my house in a warm/cozy way!
I am going to re-arrange furniture and decor.
Along with some decor changes this season I’m stepping out of my comfort zone of ” let the holiday weight gain begin” and changing to a ” no excuses” approach to fitness to stay healthy through the season.
I plan on getting a weekend lake house by end of year, would love to have it smelling nice
I am used to focusing on everyone else’s needs so I will try to focus on myself some. That will be weird and definitely out of my comfort zone.
I like to step out of my comfort zone by letting my kids do some of the decorating for the fall/winter holidays. It’s easy to get carried away with things looking “perfect”, but they will have much better memories when they get to do things themselves! 🙂
Probably do some rearranging
I am going to try to tidy things up a bit and bring some of my fall decor in. I recently became handicap and haven’t be able to keep up on things like I use to, so letting things go has me WAY OUT of my comfort zone.
I don’t use Glade products now, so getting any of these would be a step out of my zone!
I think I will bring in some fresh flowers. That is something I never do, so it would be a nice change!
I will get out of my comfort zone by creating some “fun” Halloween costume to go trick r treating with my grandkids!
I will enjoy the beauty of the falling leaves as they change their color.
I will be moving some furniture around and changing out some decorative pieces.
Running more outdoors when the weather changes and gets cooler.
With Fall coming and all the holidays right around the corner, I like to de-clutter and use season appropriate décor.
Left comment on Facebook!
I plan to edge outside my comfort zone by trying some of the new color palettes and decor that I have seen for Fall 2016. A Spiced Apple Magic™candle would tie it all together.
I will be getting our house ready for our move , so that sill definitely put me out of my comfort zone.
I never decorate; even not being a holiday. BUT my two kids are coming to age where it makes the seasons/holidays more exciting for them. So my goal this year is decorating which puts me totally out of my comfort zone. But those smiles make it all worth it!
I’m going to paint the interior walls something other than white.
Plant some new bushes in our yard for more privacy. Yard work is stepping out of my comfort zone.
I am eating less, eating better and exercising more to get my younger body back!
I am going to try some new recipes, rather than the same old things I have been cooking for years.
I have never heard of wax melts before, but now I am intrigued enough to try one!
I’m getting out of my comfort zone by entertaining company more. It makes me nervous because I’m afraid things won’t be perfect for them but I need to not be so hard on myself and enjoy the moment.
Although there will be a lot of tears, I am going to try really hard to let go of some of my parents things.
Redo my kitchen and landscaping

One year I painted my living rooms walls teal..so dramatic and beautiful!
I’ll try new recipes that I’ve never tried before to get out of my comfort zone.
Stepping out of my comfort zone would be not having to have everything just so-so. It’s ok for things to be out of place here and there, and the decorations not perfect. That’s what makes the holidays ones to remember!
I’m cleaning out the closets!
I am stepping out of my comfort zone by starting a new job tomorrow after being in this position for 8 years. I’m totally freaking out right now!
Stepping out by doing less, (couple of years)everything was immediately downsized, so learning little changes is awesome in small areas. 🙂
Change some of my regular decor with your idea of maybe glass mason jars, metal buckets and possibly
even straw. Definitely Glade Fall candles and oil plugins!
Bolder colors. I usually just go with the regular browns, yellows, oranges, etc. I love those colors, but I’d love a little bolder look to keep things looking bright while still in the fall. I won’t go too far, two throw pillows and a throw and a few knick knacks for the tables. Something to catch the eye better. And a pumpkin candle. pumpkin makes me think fall always.
My kid sister who I am the primary care giver of, our mom passed away 2yrs ago we were told by her pediatrician when she did her yearly check up for back to school that she is pre-diabetic so together we are planning on stepping outside our comfort zone by making all lunches and dinners from scratch using the freshest and healthiest ingredients we find at publix and going for a walk or bike ride at least 1 hour everyday.
I will step out of my comfort zone by editing what I have so that I love everything I have displayed, that it brings a memory of a person or a good time we experienced, and not because the decorators say I should do it a particular way.
Try using the glass mason jars, metal buckets and possibly straw instead of my traditional decor.
Definitely my Fall Glade candles and oil plugins are keepers!
I will be helping 2 of my elderly neighbors de-clutter some of their houses (closets, drawers, kitchen cabinets, video storage cases and magazine racks along with parts of their garages).
This will definitely get me out of my comfort zone. I’ll try and give each one of them a Glade candle to remember me by and maybe they won’t have to de-clutter for a long time.
When the weather cools down, here in Florida I will be planting some small hedges on the other side of my front porch. When the cooler evenings come I can sit on my front porch, light one of the pumpkin Glade candles and enjoy my new hedges. All of this will get me out of my comfort zone.
I will add some seasonal items and use fall scents like Rich Pumpkin Dream.
I’m afraid I’ve had enough bad surprises this year, so I’m doing all I can to stay within my comfort zone.
I will step out of my comfort zone and try to do more fall baking to get in the mood for the season 🙂
I’ll step out of my comfort zone by picking out some decor I wouldn’t usually choose.
