Many things are important to me for southern hospitality!
First I think it’s very important to be ready and relaxed greeting guests outside..not waiting for them to knock. This shows you excited for their arrival.
Food and drinks set, lighting, scents..flowers are all important.
A clean home. Functioning bathroom with tp etc.
Put pets away!
A basket of cozy blankets and throws for guest to grab if chilly!

I like to welcome friends and guests with a home cooked meal, especially if they have had to travel. The pumpkin scent would be my choice for a nice candle addition to the guest room-especially since it is done in orange and blue. 🙂
