It’s the last week of the Produce for Kids campaign with Publix. Don’t forget that you can help just by supporting the participating brands and grabbing more nutritious fruits and vegetables.
As a reminder, here’s the list of brands that are participating-
- Avocados from Mexico
- Crunch Pak® Sliced Apples
- Del Monte® Fruit Naturals® Cups
- Fresh Express® Packaged Salads
- Marie’s® Dressings
- Michigan Apples
- Eat Smart® Fresh Cut Vegetables
- Suja® Juices
You can shop through October 26 and the only thing you need to do it pick up any (or all) of the brands listed above. Remember, the goal of this campaign is to raise funds for local Feeding America® food banks. Just look for the Produce for Kids signs when you are shopping. By supporting the brands with the Produce for Kids logo you’ll bring home delicious and healthy foods for your family plus you’ll help support local families and children in-need as well.
Also, don’t forget to visit produceforkids.com/publix to grab printable coupons, too!
Why not grab a few Del Monte® Fruit Naturals® Cups for a tasty snack or to add to the kids’ lunch boxes? They taste great and make a healthy and convenient snack. I even have a couple of recipe ideas for you –
- Mac n Cheese Muffins
- Pizza Bento Box
- Homemade Chicken Nuggets
- Cauliflower Breakfast Pizza
- Cheesy Veggie Stuffed Shells
Another great lunch box item is Crunch Pak® Sliced Apples. My Jeb-a-doo LOVES these especially with a little container of caramel dip–yum!
