have multiple baskets to sort clothes when removed
My current Health and Beauty Flyer dates are 4/22 to 5/5/17.
I get help from my cat with separating clothes. It’s not really help but it sure is entertaining!!
I wash a load any day I have a little bit of extra time on my hands, so that the pile is never overwhelming on the weekends.
I have three different hampers–one for clothes, one for towels, and one for sheets and bedding. It makes a world of difference when doing laundry. Everything is already separated.
Doing laundry twice a week rather than once a week makes it a little less of a chore.
One load & one day at a time!
Never let it reach the top of the basket!
Fold the clothes as you pull them out of the dryer.
yes!!! and they won’t wrinkle!! 🙂
Laundry day is everyday for me, with four kids, it is important to stay on top of things. I wash and dry two loads a day to avoid a huge pile up, but folding and putting away is another story!
Laundry day is easier if I can sweet-talk someone into helping make the beds when sheets are done!
My best idea was teaching my kids how to do their own laundry! At 12, they are certainly capable!
I used to do wash daily, as we have 5 at home. Now I only do it once a week, on Saturdays, and finish it all at one time. I find this is much easier for me.
I try to do a load per day so it never piles up!
Having my husband and daughter help.
I actually don’t mind doing laundry.
I try to not let it get stacked up with lots of loads. Also thankful that I can now do laundry inside and not have to go out to a garage in the weather or to a laundromat. And to the person with the cat helper, thanks for the laugh!!
I prefer doing laundry three times a week rather than once a week
Stacking clothes in color piles and do loads either before or after dinner during the week makes it easier to manage.
My best tip to make doing laundry easier is get my hubby to do it, LOL
Organization and weekly routine.
Separate your laundry throughout the week.
do a load per day
Team work, hey kids come help fold towels!
I try to do a load every other day so it doesn’t get piled up.
Watch tv while you are doing it so the time passes quicker…
Laundry is separated in hampers and it helps that my teenagers to do their own laundry.
I run the washer whenever there is a full load ready, so it never piles up. Plus, my husband and I tag-team the folding and putting away.
Finish it. Don’t leave clothes in the dryer. Don’t leave piles of clean clothes to be folded. Just get it over with!
Fold towels as they come out of the dryer. They are easy to fold and make your basket less full.
Have the kids fold and put away their own clothes.
Keep clothing sorted, and wash as soon as a that color (fabric) has a full load, fold and put away immediately.
I wash small loads throughout the week so I don’t need to do laundry on the weekends. I also wash clothes while I’m doing bills or sitting at my computer. This seems to help me accomplish both chores quicker.
Both my husband and I work out 5 days a week and we have to do laundry every day so after a few years we came up with this house rule:
1. Do laundry more often. We do it as soon as we wake up.
2. Use baskets to presort laundry. Each of us has its own basket and we bring them at the end of the day in the laundry room.
3. Clean Your Appliances. I do this every month in the weekend so everything smells great.
4. We do not really fold our clothes, if we have something that has to be hanged, then we hang it right away.
I have a load every night. I just put it in during my kids bath time and make them load it in the dryer themselves. Folding gets done the next night
Take your clothes out of the dryer right away so you don’t need to iron. Hate ironing!
I just let it pile up all week and do it on Sunday, so maybe my tip is don’t do it like me!
I sort all the clothes first then go through washing each load.
I put a load of wash in every other day and I fold and hang items as I take them from the dryer.
Washing a little bit of laundry each day helps keep it manageable
I try to do a load per day so I don’t get behind.
I do at least one full load each and every day… from start to finish. That way I never have to deal with Mount Washmore.
My job is load the washer. The kids’ job is to load and unload the dryer!!! TEAMWORK!!!
I do it whenever I have enough to make a full load and that way it never piles up where it seems like I have to spend all day doing it.
Do a load of laundry every day. Or every other day to keep it manageable. That’s what I do 🙂
Not that original, but I do laundry every other day so weekends are consumed by laundry! Makes it much easier.
Better for my septic tank too!
Doing laundry with a friend.
At least one load a day! I don’t even have to think about doing laundry…it has become a habit. Finish what you start….there is nothing you can put into a washer or dryer that you cannot fold or hang up and put away in 10 minutes if you put your mind to it!
Have multiple baskets and pre-sort. When free just grab a basket to throw in and wash!
Pre-sort the laundry to make it go quicker
Having the kids help sort the laundry and just doing it!! I have them bring all laundry and we sort so I can see how many loads after we prioritized them. Of course, if I could win some additional help it is appreciated!
I sort laundry by whites, colors and darks and once a basket is full, I put a load on. Sometimes I fell that I am a bit compulsive about it, but it works for me.
I make it easier by making it a laundry week instead of a day. Just throw a load in every couple days.
Help
Have the kids carry their hamper stuff to the laundry room and put in sorting baskets so I can just drop in washer and go….
I do at least 3 loads a week on different days for white and colored clothes.
i do two loads a day to help with laundry loads .
I try to stick to the weekend for laundry and fold laundry while catching up on my favorite shows 😉
Have my husband do it.
Don’t wait until you have massive loads of laundry and have others help out in the house with things like folding afterwards.
I break up doing the laundry during the week, leaving my weekends laundry free.
Keep stain remover at multiple hampers
Husband does his own laundry! I do just me & my son. Much less work.
I put a load of laundry late at night so the hot water won’t be used up in the day when we need it. Also in the summer I try to use the dryer at night when the house is less hot so I don’t feel so miserable when unloading it.
Do laundry every few days so it doesn’t pile up.
I do laundry every weekend.
My best idea to make laundry day a little easier is I don’t let dirty laundry pile up. I do a load every day so it doesn’t become overwhelming.
Have separate laundry hampers for each type of laundry so it is pre-sorted in advance.
Folding laundry straight out of the dryer helps the piles not to be as high.
I try to wash at least one load a day that way it does not pile up and take hours and hours to do.
Pay someone else to do it?!
Where we are currently living we have had to travel to the Laundromat to do any laundry, so the best tip I have at this time is having a working washer & dryer in the home it makes it so much more convenient and less expensive.
I keep two containers for dirty clothes, eliminates sorting time. I also do it at night, saves on energy.
Have the kids help fold the laudry. 🙂
We sort into laundry hampers by color. Then we try and do a load of lights and of darks during the week. that way laundry doesn’t pile up and we just need to do a few loads on the weekends.
I just do one load a day, then it is not so much work!
One day clothing & another day towels & sheets.

Fold as soon as the dryer finishes to avoid wrinkles.
Put on some of your favorite music, brew a pot of coffee or tea and have fun doing the laundry. It doesn’t have to be a chore.
I hang clothes pulling them out of the dryer damp so they aren’t wrinkled
Doing laundry doesn’t bother me. In fact, I tell my daughter to bring her laundry when she comes to visit since my machine is bigger. Getting the rest of the family to help out with folding and putting clothes away helps to make doing laundry easier.
Listening to music and using wool dryer balls makes laundry SO much more easy (and fun)! I do laundry several times a week, instead of on one day. But I use and enjoy Mrs. Meyers products, so its a breeze!
I sort and do my laundry by whites, lights and darks. Sometimes, I even do them on different days
We do laundry by colors. Whites, darks and lights along with seperate delicates
My best advise fr making laundry easier is to do clothes one day and towels/sheets.
Hang clothes up after in dryer for 2 minutes then let dry, less wrinkles this way for me
I sort everything ahead of time so when I am ready to do laundry it isn’t as overwhelming.
I put a load (whites or sheets) in the washer when I first get up then move that one to the dryer and start another in the washer before running errands. One is finished and another 1/2 done when I get home without having any downtime waiting.
I usually do it on the weekend!!!
I have different baskets for lights, darks and towels. I do about one load of laundry per day so that it doesn’t pile up.
I have no ideas but I sure would like to get some good ideas from other people.
I have everyone sort their whites and colors. I also have these little clips my Mother bought to keeps socks sorted when washing and drying. That is one of my favorite things! The worst part is my Mother can’t remember where she got them.
I break it up through the week that way it isn’t so much all at once.
I do laundry throughout the week so it’s not so much on one day. I also keep a sock basket and just toss them all in there. Everyone can just grab them when they needs them. I don’t want to waste time matching socks!

One thing that helps make doing laundry easier for me is to do a little each day, before it has a chance to pile up.
I do one or two loads every weekday so I can take friday and saturday off and wash again on sunday
I make sure all my colors are seperated during the week so im ready to wash
I wash all my laundry on Friday. I hate folding clothes I just get it all done in one day and not have to worry about it.
My wife won’t let me do laundry. I don’t do it the right way.
Have the whites and colors presorted.
Dirty clothes immediately go into separate laundry baskets so no sorting needed!
Using Mrs.Meyers laundry products almost make doing laundry an easy pleasure 🙂
To make laundry day a little easier I start very early in the morning and get it done so the process doesn’t linger through the day.
I have my family put their dirty laundry directly in the washer -not on the floor …Just remember the washer and dryer do all the work mostly-throw in the clothes, Mrs. Meyer’s clean day detergent, and press the button. See it that way and it isn’t as much of a chore. 🙂
I have 3 children, so every day is laundry day. That’s my tip. Stay on top of it. Otherwise, you’ll be washing clothes for 3 days straight. LOL
I have a 3 compartment laundry hamper that keeps items sorted. I just roll it to the laundry room & fill washer.
Monday is the day to strip beds & gather up towels. Keep school uniforms & play clothes separated. During ball season a few extra loads can be expected.
My partner has a really dirty job, so we have 3 laundry hampers!! One for each of us for our regular clothes, & one more in the garage for his REALLY dirty clothes! I wash our clothes separately, & I try to run the wash at least a few times during the week, so that it doesn’t pile up so quick…! Also, I only use all-natural detergent, without unnecessary added dyes & chemical contaminants, like Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day line of products, & natural static dryer sheets!! 🙂 (Their lavender scent works great, is not overpowering, & is all-natural!!!)
Wait until my husband is out of clean underwear. Then he will do it!
treat myself to a nice cup of tea and a good book when it is all done!!
Have my children do the laundry for me!
Laundry day for me is delightful. I love doing laundry. It is easier when I use the dryer rather than line drying the clothes. Also when I hang up the clothes straight from the dryer it makes life easier with less wrinkles.
Such awesome products and this is wonderful. I suggest color sorting first and keeping clothes and towels separate and organized before starting laundry. Also, as the loads come out of the dryer fold them when they are done.. don’t wait until they are piled to the ceiling and all done, lol. 😉 Ive tried it that way too! My arms were totally tired after folding all of that!
I y to do my laundry in the early morning so I’m not disturbing anyone.
Separate everything before hand.
Multitask! And/or get a helping partner. Get a basket and start sorting and folding while watching something that does’t require too much focus.
