The weather is amazing right now. I love those days when the weather is mild and I can open my windows and let the fresh air blow in. That fresh air makes me happy and lets out any humidity and stale air that might have accumulated. Hey, it’s called FRESH air for a reason!

What are some of your favorite ways to freshen up your home?
We have lots of glass surfaces in our home. Touching it up with windex makes the whole house look dusted up!
Baking Soda on carpet adn vacuum it up, or glades fresh linen carpet powder.
We have a hairy dog…..vacuuming usually does the trick

Wiping out the sinks. Sounds odd, but those water marks can add up!
Start cleaning from the top of a room (check for spider webs) and work my way down to the floors. Using a dust mop rather than a broom helps to keep dust particles out of the air as does using a barely dampened dust rag. I polish furniture as needed and open the windows when the weather permits.

I like natural products or fresh smelling like linen or lemon scents.

Open the windows in the morning while it is cool and close before its too hot. Wash all linens and hang outside on the clothes line for good fresh scent!!

I buy the 3 for $12 bunches of a variety of color of flowers at Publix and put them on my dining room table. Three in a vase look like a $100 and more bouquet from the florist . They are cheery and fresh, and always puts a smile on my face and everyone ! I guess I am rewarding myself after I clean the house-lol 🙂
