When doing a deep cleaning, I get the whole family involved. Since I work full time everyone has to do their share.

Everyone is responsible to pick up after them selves. And if I have to then I make grocery money lol.
I deep clean the whole house twice a year; then I clean daily on “as needed basis”; I have people wipe their shoes before entering the house.

I keep my kitchen sprayed and wiped down with windex. I have been doing this for years and it keeps my kitchen counters, sinks and appliances looking sparkling clean and not to mention the windows too. I get compliments on how nice my kitchen looks all the time:)
Doing some cleaning works every day.
Touch things only once. When the mail comes, put catalogs into the recycle bin immediately and put bills in the to be paid rack. When buying groceries, put them away as soon as you get home. Fold laundry while still warm from the dryer and put it away.
I have used a four week rotating schedule for years and it allows me to stay on track without having to do big clean days.
I put on some music and that helps motivate me to clean. If I’m on the phone I try to clean while I am talking on the phone at home. Also, I try to wipe down counters and the stove daily, just to stay on top of messes so they are easier to clean.
Do some cleaning every day during the week so it isn’t so overwhelming and you can enjoy your week-end. Laundry get done on Wednesday evening at our house.

I tidy up during commercials, and between shows. Also, I like to hand wash my dishes as I am cooking, it just makes cleaning up after eating so much easier.
No kids or pets…that helps A LOT. Also having people who are into cleaning around helps. No slobs. A cleaning service if things get to be to much.
I just try to stay out of the way when my wife gets that angry I got to get this house clean look in her eyes.
I watch an episode of Hoarders, that puts me in a cleaning frenzy. I can get the whole house done in one day.

I have a schedule that I follow twice a week on major jobs, daily spot cleaning for messes
I do a lot of tasks each day. Start with getting and keeping everything well organized. Then continue with a standard routine and continue by adding small tasks and jobs that need doing as they come to your attention. Keep everything wiped down and sparkling! This makes your home inviting for you and your guests!
Lock my kids in their room lol j/k….nothing is really clean with 6 kids messing and now home for the summer but I do try and dust and wipe down everything during the week….

The right products to clean with make such a difference. I try to get kids to help by giving each a job and cleaning while listening to music.
I like sweeping the floor and cleaning the counter tops before bed so there isn’t a buildup of clutter and also keep some cleaning products in different areas of the house so there is no excuse to take care of a mess when it happens.

I got a Roomba for Christmas. It is set to sweep the floors in a specific area automatically at same time each day, then it returns to its base. So worth it!

My mother starter this when my sister and I were just kids and it kept her house and now my house clean….every night after dinner everyone put in 20 minutes..While mom is tidying the kitchen, I would tackle a bathroom or some laundry, dad would sweep or dust and my sister would go from room to room with a basket grabbing things that didn’t belong and put them away. I make my family do it now and since we got into the routine a few years ago, everyone has a job and it doesn’t even take 20 minutes to tidy up.
My quick tip for keeping my house clean is to put things away right away rather than putting things where they don’t belong.
I put things back where they go right way, my husband and I both clean up after ourselves as we go. I keep clorox wipes in the bathroom for easy clean up.

My tip for quick clean up is I get the whole family to pitch in before bed to keep it easy on me. We all do a 15 minute cleanup before heading to bed at night!
