Once you have your ice cream, you just need to raid your pantry and hit the fridge to grab some milk. Yes, you can use a hot chocolate packet but I really like the richness of a homemade hot chocolate for this treat. But, I promise I won’t judge you if you opt for the packet.

This recipe is definitely open to modifications. You can use any Breyers Ice Cream that you love. Heck, I say experiment and try a couple of different varieties just to find your favorite combo. Personally, I like the simple combination of Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream in my Hot Chocolate Float.

Then there is the option of toppings. Again, you can keep it simple or go crazy. Sometimes I add whipped cream or marshmallows, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup. You don’t really have to add anything at all, the recipe is perfect with a couple of scoops of ice cream dropped into that piping hot chocolate.
