My list of goals for 2021 is pretty long. I have a big list of health & wellness goals, tons of organizational goals, and lots of financial goals.
One of my goals is to use all the food I already have in my pantry within the next two month.
With this goal, I actually get organized AND save money. My pantry is way overdue for a good cleaning and desperately needs organization. So by using all the existing food, my pantry gets cleaned out and I won’t have to purchase as many groceries at the store each week….win/win!
Luckily, I found coupons on delicious Tillamook items that will help me serve up great taste and save a little money to boot. Looks like my new year’s resolutions are off to a great start!
Just think of all the tasty meals that I can make with a few pantry staples and delicious Tillamook Cheese.
I can throw together macaroni & cheese, a cheesy rice casserole, black bean quesadillas, or maybe some soup with a tasty grilled cheese sandwich. The options are endless!
I am thinking that my Skillet Taco Mac & Cheese will be the perfect addition to my menu this week. So let’s hear it, how will you put the Tillamook savings to use?
I have to laugh cause I have vowed to eat up everything I have on hand also. Figure I have about 2 mo’s of everything on I will need. Except for fresh veggies and fish.
Yep–I am determined to CLEAN.IT.OUT!
Now let’s just hope we aren’t tempted to restock before it happens š
What a great idea! The recipe looks delicious as well. I’m going to make it tonight, except I have had some shells in my pantry for a while, so shells it will be.
Oh it will be great…I have used just about every pasta type in this recipe and it’s always perfect. In all honesty, I probably just used mac noodles in the recipe I shared for the name. Skillet Taco Pasta and Cheese just doesn’t sound as nice –hahaha!
Update: This IS delicious! Made more than enough to feed the 5 of us, but I didn’t put ALL of the cheese in the skillet, I saved some to put on top, for those who like extra cheese. It completely filled my biggest skillet, so I’m glad I didn’t add the extra 4 oz. of shells from the 12 oz. box I had.
So glad you liked it…
I used to have leftovers but with teenage boys–leftovers only happen now if I double the recipe or hide some in a bowl in the fridge š
