Start by gathering your ingredients…ground beef, shredded cheddar and some cooked and crumbled bacon.

From there you’ll want to form a 1/4 pound patty from the ground beef and make a well into the middle of the burger. Add some of the diced bacon and the shredded cheese inside the well and then gently press and mold the ground beef over and around to seal the filling inside the patty. If easier, you can also pull about a tablespoon from the 1/4 pound patty then fill and use that extra meat to cover and seal the filling.

Grill to at least medium to ensure the cheese melts completely, then add your preferred toppings. We like to go with the classic fixings — lettuce, tomato, and pickle chips — but there are plenty of other tasty pairings.

Last but not least, don’t forget all your favorite sauces and condiments from Heinz to give it that extra kick. Mayo, ketchup, mustard, even barbecue sauce or blue cheese or ranch dressing — put out a spread and encourage your family to get creative.
