Meat Free Monday has been a tradition at my house for many years. In fact, over the past couple of years I have been gradually adding in another meatless meal to our weekly menu. The great thing is that my guys haven’t really noticed that additional day.
With tasty meals like my Ultimate Garden Burgers they get great taste… just without the meat.
Listen, meatless burgers have really come a long way over the past few years. Many of the plant-based burgers look and have the texture and meaty deliciousness of a traditional burger. Heck, many of the burger joints now even offer up a meat-free option.
The key to building a good veggie burger is really like building any other burger… you want to layer on complimenting flavors. So in the case of a veggie burger, lots of vegetables with different flavors and textures just make sense. Juicy tomatoes with crisp cucumber are definitely a great start. Lettuce and onion add another layer of flavor and a big pile of sprouts give it a punch that just can’t be beat. To make it pop with flavor, Heinz Ketchup and Heinz Mustard are an absolute necessity. You want to add enough so that you get that great taste in every single bite. The combination of ingredients makes for the Ultimate Garden Veggie Burger that will rival any traditional burger.

OK–so this isn’t really the recipe that’s supposed to be on this post, is it?? Otherwise, I’m confused…
