Football season is back… and you know that means — the return of game day fun AND all that delicious game day food!
At my house, a big spread of all those delicious fan-favorites is just as important as the game itself. I like to serve up a variety of tasty options so that everyone can find something to munch on. Lots of chips and dips, handheld goodies and even some sweet treats. Then, with the addition of some refreshing beverages and a little team swag, my friends and a family will be all set for a big day of football fun!
While my menu tends to vary week to week, there are a few foods that I serve up every game day without fail. One of those must-have foods is a big plate of chicken wings.
Now, I have a dozen or more ways to prepare wings. There’s Buffalo wings, Asian sticky wings, and garlic wings. But, the number one choice around here is Hot Chicken Wings made with Mike’s Hot Honey, especially the Extra Hot variety. That sticky, sweet and hot honey is the ultimate ingredient that makes for the most amazing wings you will ever eat.
You don’t need a ton of ingredients to create a game day dish that will have everyone cheering for more. Head into Publix and pick up some chicken and a bottle of Mike’s Hot Honey – Extra Hot and raid your pantry. With very little effort you’ll have a dish that is sure to please!

Founded in 2010 by Mike Kurtz, the brand was born from a desire to create and share the highest quality honey infused with chili peppers. Mike began drizzling his signature hot honey on pizzas at the Brooklyn pizzeria where he worked, and customers started to ask if they could buy bottles to take home.
Mike’s Hot Honey is the premier brand of hot honey, not just for its incredible taste and versatile usage, but also because it’s made from 100% pure honey and real chili peppers. So if you’ve been looking for a way to spice up your favorite foods in a way that appeals to both fans of heat and sweet, be sure to pick up some Mike’s Hot Honey during your next Publix run! You’ll even save on your next purchase. Get a buck off either variety of delicious Mike’s Hot Honey now through 9/27.
