Easter is coming up fast. It’s time to start thinking about what delicious snacks to make for your family and friends to serve up before that big Easter Dinner!
Now you could go with the usual or shake things up and serve up a batch of my fun and festive Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites.
With very little effort, you can create an Easter themed snack that your friends and family will adore. All you need is some puff pastry and a tub of that delicious Alouette Spreadable Cheese. In a matter of minutes, you can have a tray full of cute carrot-shaped snacks filled with flavorful, ultra-creamy cheese that is sure to please.
The hard part will be deciding which flavor to stuff into those tasty puff pastry bites. With three amazing flavors, you can use just one… or go crazy and use some of each to give your guests great variety.
- Garlic & Herb
- Spinach & Artichoke
- Smoky Jalapeño
While they look like they might be difficult, this tasty snack is actually quite simple to prepare. You simply wrap thin slices of puff pastry around a pastry horn and bake them up. I like to brush mine with a little diluted orange food coloring to give them a touch of color. But that step is completely optional. And if you don’t have pastry horn in your kitchen, rolled up aluminum foil works like a champ.
Once the pastry has baked, all you have to do is pipe that deliciously creamy Alouette Spreadable Cheese into the pastry and tuck in some fresh parsley or fresh dill to give your snack a carrot-like appearance. All that’s left is to place on a platter and serve them up.
Cheese Stuffed Puff Pastry Bites (Easter Themed)

The combination of the flaky puff pastry with the creamy cheese is simple but incredibly delicious. In fact, this tasty snack is so tempting, you might want to make extras… just in case!
