Crispy Honey Garlic Pork

Ingredients
  

Crispy Pork

  • 1 pkg Hatfield Honey Garlic Teriyaki Dry Rub Seasoned Pork Tenderloin, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • canola or vegetable oil for frying
  • rice, toasted sesame seed and chopped green onion, for serving

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Instructions
 

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and boil for 3 - 5 minutes, until thickened.

Crispy Pork

  • Add the flour and cornstarch to a large bowl and whisk to combine.
  • Add the sliced pork and place in the flour mixture and toss until well coated.
  • Fill a large skillet about 1/2-inch deep with oil and heat to 350°F.
  • Add about half of the pork to the hot oil and fry until crispy, turning once. Remove to a paper-lined plate. Repeat with the remaining pork.
  • Toss the pork in the prepared sauce and then serve over rice. Top with toasted sesame seeds and chopped onion.
