What I love about the sauces is they offer me a shortcut to create such delicious meals for my family. I can whip up a phenomenal meal with almost no effort at all. You don’t have to purchase tons of herbs and spices to get great flavor…it’s already in the jar!
You only need a few key ingredients plus a jar of Bertolli® Riserva and in no time flat you have a meal that will impress your friends and family. Take this recipe for Porcini Chicken with Cheese Ravioli as an example. This dish is so elegant and would be a beautiful presentation at a dinner party but you can have it ready in about 30 minutes from start to finish! Grab a bottle of wine and a loaf of bread from the Publix bakery and you have a date night meal that won’t break the bank! The best part is that it tastes just as good as it looks!
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch strips
- 2 medium zucchini (about 2 cups)
- 1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Bertolli® Riserva Porcini Mushrooms with White Truffle Oil Sauce
- 1 lb. fresh cheese raviolis
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, if desired. Add chicken to skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in zucchini, cook 2 minutes, until zucchini begins to soften.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in Bertolli® Riserva Porcini Mushrooms with White Truffle Oil Sauce. Cover and cook 5 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and sauce in heated through.
- Toss cooked pasta with sauce and chicken, stir in basil. Garnish with additional basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
