Over the past two weeks I have given you lots of different tips that I have found helpful when cleaning my own home. Unfortunately, the thoughts of spring cleaning can send people into panic mode. That really shouldn’t be the case at all!
One of the most important tips that you should remember when tackling spring cleaning is to go at a pace that is comfortable for you. Unless you are preparing for an event, there is typically no reason you have to have the cleaning done by a certain date. You might even consider adding in some enjoyment to the mix. Consider cranking up the music and singing along. You might even consider finding an audio version of a book that you haven’t had time to read and listen while you clean! Grab a headset and knock out some overdue calling to friends and family.
It’s really amazing how fast the cleaning goes when you add in some enjoyment. I dance and sing like crazy when I clean my house. Thankfully no one can hear as I certainly would never make it on American Idol or The Voice…BUT it makes the time fly by much faster. Often, I am so preoccupied by my performance that I don’t even notice that I am actually cleaning!
Remember a good cleaner will also make things go much faster. Take the time to stop by Publix and stock up while you can! Grab these great deals and get ready to get all your spring cleaning knocked out!
