Ok…I am counting down the days until I can get my hands on those BOGO Ready Pac® Bistro® Bowl™ salads. Only a few more days… I know many of you in some of the Publix divisions are already seeing the sale right now.

Remember the sale is happening in different waves so some folks have the sale now while some of us will have to wait for the new ad before we get the sale. I have heard from some of the folks who are stocking up now that they have found peelies on the bowl with savings of $1 making each salad just a buck. Now I am hoping to find the same but heck, even at just $2 after the BOGO sale, it’s a can’t miss deal. It’s not often you find a healthy, portable meal that tastes great for that price.

I’ll grab enough for me and a few to send with the boys in their lunch boxes. It makes me happy that they love them as much as I do. The funny thing is, the Ready Pac salad plus a thermos of milk (water for Jake) and a fruit will cost me less than if I purchased my kids a lunch at the school! It’s no joke…one lunch at their school is $3. Plus, they are probably getting twice the amount of food!

I can pack each boy a Chef Salad and know that they are getting a good lunch filled with lots of protein. The salad is a hearty blend of julienne smoked turkey and ham, with chunks of swiss cheese on a crisp bed of iceberg lettuce.
