Next week begins teacher appreciation week. Now I am guessing that all you guys who teach wish that this took place every single week of the year! With all that you do, I can’t say that I disagree.

Teachers work very hard and definitely deserve some recognition for all their efforts. I did the math and my boys are with their teachers 7 hours each weekday. That means my boys spend almost a third of their day in the classroom with these folks who work hard to teach them a variety of skills. I certainly think that deserves a pat on the back!

Teachers provide so much more than just learning. They offer motivation, inspiration and encourage our children to be their very best. Teacher appreciation week offers us the opportunity to say “Thank You” to all the exceptional teachers who do so much for our children day after day.
