This is one of my favorite times of the year…football season is back in full swing!
We love the games but that’s only part of it. It’s even more fun when you can gather friends and family and watch the games together.
We have a huge group of friends who love college football as much as we do. We are not always cheering for the same team, but friendly competition makes the day a little more fun. It’s usually easy to spot who everyone is routing for as folks come decked out in team colors and all kinds of spirit wear. If it’s a big game, I’ll even pull out some decorations just to make the day a bit more festive.
Of course food is always a huge part of all our game day gatherings. I keep tons of hearty snacks on hand for my guests to enjoy. There is just something about food and football that go hand in hand.
I try to vary the menu each game but there are a few items that are so popular, they get made every single game without fail. Hot wings are always on the menu as is the Rich N’ Cheesy Smoked Sausage Cheese Dip made with the great taste of Eckrich Smoked Sausage. I’ll make a batch, throw it in my slow cooker and everyone will munch all day long.
Now is the perfect time to stock your fridge with the great taste of Eckrich. We have a sale that will help you grab a super deal. Pick up a pack of Eckrich Smoked Sausage for your next game day gathering or to use for a quick and tasty dinner that’s ready in a flash!
