Desserts don’t have to be fancy. Sometimes the best desserts are the most simple ones. Don’t get me wrong…I love all kinds of baked goodies like cakes, pies, cookies, cobblers and the like. But, I don’t always want to cook. With just a carton of Breyers Ice Cream and a spoon, I have a delicious desert that I can enjoy without any effort at all.
Of course if you are feeling creative, there are hundreds of different ways to take a carton of ice cream to another level—and most don’t even require any cooking!
One of my family’s favorite dessert is what I call an Ice Cream Dipped Doozy. This is a DIY dessert where everyone gets to pair the flavors that they like best. Gather your family and pull out a carton of Breyers Ice Cream, graham crackers, some melted chocolate and various toppings and let everyone go to town.
Publix has everything you need to put my Ice Cream Dipped Doozy treats on your menu this week. AND you can serve them up and save some money too! Look for all your favorite flavors of Breyers Ice Cream on sale as part of the current Publix ad. I like to use a classic vanilla with this recipe as it’s the perfect base to any topping. But feel free to experiment and grab your favorite flavors.
Just don’t dilly dally, the sale ends 10/7 (10/6 for some).

If you have a little extra time, don’t forget about my Breyers Cookie Overload Ice Cream Cake. It is a dessert that looks so impressive BUT is really easy to prepare. Pick up the ingredients you need this week when you shop at Publix and surprise your family with a decadent dessert that will have them RUNNING to the table!
All of your favorite Breyers Ice Creams are made with fresh cream, sugar & milk. Youʼll get amazing taste no matter which variety you choose.
The folks at Breyers start with only high quality ingredients. Their dairy is all American and their milk and cream come from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones (the FDA states that no significant difference has been shown between dairy derived from rBST-treated and non-rBST-treated cows). Their colors and flavors come from natural resources. And their vanilla and fruit are real and sustainably farmed. They have been serving up quality since 1866.
