We are smack dab in the middle of dip season. With lots of football games and upcoming holiday gatherings, I expect to make a couple of dips every week for the next few months.
I like trying out new recipes, just to keep my menu fresh. And with so many get togethers in a short time frame, I have to change things up as my guest list overlaps from party to party. Luckily, I found a new dip to add to my rotation — that Turn Up the Heat Chipotle and Cilantro Dip that you see above.
With just six ingredients, including a packet of Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix, this tasty dip comes together in a matter of minutes.
The original recipe calls for 2 chipotle chilies in adobo sauce, but we like it spicy. I actually find that the recipe is even better with 4 or 5 chilies mixed in the dip. But, if you aren’t sure the heat level you like, I would start with two and then taste, adding additional peppers until you get to the flavor/heat level that you love.
